Relatively unknown to the general audience, Bliss composed this moving piece,
Morning Heroes, about his brother who died on the Somme in 1916 during the First World War and his own experiences at the battle front. Andrew Davis and his forces once again prove to be the perfect advocate for this kind of -F°forgottenĘ music. The recording received a Star Review award in the latest issue of Choir & Organ.
