Choosing modern British repertoire is an inspired treatment of the great Harrison organ of Coventry Cathedral, which interprets its colours and textures so well. There are familiar pieces (Moore Paean, Mathias Processional, Preston Alleluyas) and a superb array of less-known and more challenging works, including Dove Niagara, MacMillan Offertorium, Bingham St Bride, assisted by angels, and more. Kerry Beaumont (organist at Coventry since 2006) plays expressively and injects energy in all the right places. Discover some brilliant new repertoire here and enjoy established favourites too.
