This enterprising series, celebrating neglected composers, reaches Theodore Gouvy (1819-1989). An individual and prolific voice, with an output including seven symphonies and a great deal of chamber music, he has rather fallen off the radar. There are some fine performances here, and Tedi Papavrami is luxury casting in the Fantasie pastorale for violin and orchestra. Sound is excellent.
