Little reflects on diverse influences – minimalism in the title work, the lyricism of English writing for strings in Fanfare, Baltic choral music with Kyrie, even rock music (Terpsichore), but adds a richness of coloration, dynamic shading and melodic inventiveness all his own. Small wonder that this Australian composer has gained several awards on both sides of the Atlantic.
