O Jesu mi dulcissime, the accomplished London-based amateur choir Coro presents an ambitious programme including Schütz, the Gabrielis and Monteverdi, making a nimble if occasionally muted case for the tackling of polychoral repertoire by larger forces. What is lost in clarity is sometimes gained in mass, but the recorded sound is rather dull, two-dimensional and distant.
