Was it only last year that i predicted in this column that the 17th-century Polish master Bartłomiej Pekiel would soon be discovered by British professional choirs? So I’m glad to see The Sixteen’s disc, directed by Eamonn Dougan, including the fabulously imaginative and decorative Mass a 14 – plenty of glorious listening pleasure.
