For Roland de Lassus Canticum Canticorum the Chœur de Chambre de Namur, with instrumental ensemble Clematis, fill large acoustics with fragrant phrasing and languid tempi. Some contrasting sprightliness and lovely solo singing offer welcome variety in a programme exploring the sacred/profane interface and, while not impeccable chorally, it’s an interpretational delight.
