There’s no want of acoustics in El Cant de la Sibilla as the Italian Ensemble San Felice anthologises Catalan medieval music, including material from the Llibre Vermell. It’s convincing, compelling and characterful – keeping it real as people’s music, with curiously attractive rawness in some adult voices and a sparkling children’s choir. There are too many bells, but that’s a guilty pleasure.
