Liturgical choirs in the USA are bringing more European treasure to light. Pierre de Manchicourt: Missa Reges terrae is a world premiere recording from the Choir of St Luke in the Fields, New York. Their bright, shiny, confident singing in broad acoustics of this busy polyphony is vivacious, so it might be churlish to mention some unevenness of vocal quality in this very listenable-to 12-voice ensemble.
