Many real trebles adorn the upper registers of the excellent Truro Cathedral Choir in more Iberian repertoire. Lobo: Missa Vox clamantis also features works by Victoria, Vivanco and Guerrero, and brightly resonant acoustics and clear recording afford no hiding place: just as well, therefore, that they set high standards with plenty of fine phrasing, full-blooded tone, dynamic contrast and a cheery lack of self-indulgence.
