There’s even more treble-tastic joy in John Sheppard: Media vita. No one does magisterially slow tempi in huge acoustics better than Westminster Cathedral Choir, and the sonic sumptuousness of the aptly named, supremely crafted six-voice Missa Cantate features compellingly committed singing of utmost passion in a recording of magnificent presence.
