With an impressive technique and mercurial temperament, Buniatishvili makes the most of a sequence of ‘magical piano moments that have shaped [her] life’. This may well be ‘her most intimate and personal album’, but it is markedly less consistent a disc than previous releases. She is well served by the engineers and by a booklet that contains no fewer than seven pictures of the artist.
